This is my sidekick NINJA. He's been growing up and he's finally 3 yearz ol!!

This is us at 1 of Ninja's barkday pawties! I'm of course, behind the camera, taking the peekture. Where did you think I was?

He's into doggysports so he reads his CleanRun magazines when he can. Ninja, no more ordering of doggy toys online, u hear me? We have way too much squeakies!

Sometimes he has to do guard duty at the door, beside Mom's many shoez.

At other times, all he needs to do is pretend to be a cute fluffy. Actually Ninja secretly thinks he's a chihuahua.

Something....like this mabbe. Nah, this is our neighbourhood cat.

This is the 2 of uz in our new play area. The green rug's freaking me out, it looks so much like grass! Now let's hope the silly boy doesn't pee on it.

Ninja you see that? That's what they do to Border Collies who misbehave! They skin them! hehehe!

And this is the 2 of uz on our afternoon nap. Ninja, don't you drool on me! And dont grab me with your pawz, I'm not your bolster!

Harlo everybirdy!!!

I cant believe my sabbatical has been for more than a year! *crosses paws*

Let me update you on what has happened in our dogdays while I was away.

In the time that I have left my blogging work aside, US Dog Bakery has come up with the DOGGIE MOONCAKEZ!!! Its filled with sweet potato and lamb/beef/chicken fillings.
I lurve mooncakez! (Dai-Zhong-Kuo mooncakes don't taste too bad either) Hiak Hiaks!
They should really have mooncakes as doggie daily meals, I don't know why mooncakez are only allowed every 15 days of the year!?! Do u???

I did work too, as a PR dog. I had to up my cuteness meter and pose while Dad tries to get more hoomans to sign up for the National Dog Walk 2011. And boy was it fun! I hope you didn't miss it!

Lots of my doggie frenz came for the National Dogwalk 2011. Aunt E came with Ginger too, and here's our group foto when the boys wasn't snarling at each other, hehehe!

On the serious front, I did a lot of contemplating on LIFE as a Singaporean corgi and who I should vote as President of my doggyland if I was allowed to. I watched TV and read the newspaperz everyday.

Meanwhile, Dad says he haz no problem voting for the coolest hairstyle.

But deep deep inside, Dad sayz I should run for President!!! Watchu think?

And...Mom? She went playing with other puppiez AGAIN!!!! Stop it!!!

Since Im now an adult dog, I haz learned to do my own HUNT. And this is how you eatz a real BONE. Yummyz!

Its official, we have done away with the hooman kind of 2 legged so we can continue our blogging life. I cant believe SHE hogged the laptop for 6mths!

Well we did alota work during the 6mths. I worked sooooo hard at the trials! See peekture below for pwoof!

Oh well, just becuz I showed u the butt a couple of times, u didnt have to take me out from the trials! :P

We took a group foto! Ninja pwoofed he was there by pounching on cute Carbon. *tsk tsk tsk*

After the recent trials, mom & dad did something to the little terror. He got sniped. Poor thing *shakes corgi head* But he continued to show us his *XXXX-s* or the lack of it. Ahem.

Oh well, he grew a little grouchy so we had to be nice to him.

I tried to cheer him up with this shot! Double of me! He said its not funny, and a little scary actually.

He didnt smile until we brought him out! (pink scarf & all hehehe)

Isnt it nice to oust the 2 legged? We get to blog again!

The hoomans are BCBZ. It stands for Border Collie BuZy.

I.FEEL.NEGLECTED.

1) We have to send the bad boy to secret-society training.
Time: 930pm / Wed
Location: Secret
That's him with his brudders and their moms & dads, and the Guru teaching them sme yoga moves. I think its great work, but it gives me the dark eyebags!

2) Then, this silly boy started to have the runs. I had them too but he got them real bad. So bad until his ding-dongs got infected & swollen. And being a silly dude, he thot licking them was the best way to protect them. Is he really a smart dog?
Anyhows, the good Dog-ter gave him a CONE. *evil chuckles*

Initially, he thot it was fun. And he stood and waited. And waited. And waited. The hoomans taught him how to sit & lie down.

Then, he realised its not so fun after all. Hours later, he begs to take it off.
Have u seen a BC with shaking paws???
*Corgi gives evil laughter*

3) And then, I had to deal with THIS!!!!

My favourite hooman, Uncle Porky, got himself a new puppy!! Horrors!

Well, I had to admit he's all puppy fuzzy and sweet. I cant help protecting & playing with him, esp when the silly lil' brudder snaps at him. Though it takes ounces of self-discipline not to cry when I see MY HOOMANS hugging him.

So what do we good doggies do during school holidays?

We.....PAWTY!!!

Mom & Dad brght me to Aunt Lorna's hse for a Boxing Corgi Get-Together on Boxing Day! The hoomans prepared alota food for the dogs but see pic below. Now who are they trying to kid? Those are all for the hoomans!!!

Well, I cldnt care less so long as they give me that dog-cake! Yummyzz!!
And I got to see this cute guy--BarnBarn. I personally think he's got a rough-edge look with that nipped ear, I like badboyz...heehee!

There was his sista too! She's a water-corgi.

And this is BooBoo.

Other than corgi pawtys, I bring my lil' brudder to swimming. U know, if u dont exercise the BC, they go abit bonkers, hehe.

We suntan together, me & my brudder!

And he makes sme new frenz! Im proud of my lil' brudder cuz he didnt snap at this boy who showed him all his teeth.

I also got to play with my Dad, who's disappearing from my life so often now that I feel tempted to chew up his passport.

Cuz they did NOT bring me! Hmmpf!!!
Mum and Dad went away for TWO weeks and left us at DogSchool! Imagine me and fatboy huddled together for TWO weeks?!?!? And then they went this place WITHOUT us?!?!??

I was already suspicious when they took out Da-Black-Box-with-Wheels.
I asked Dad.

He says its nothing and continued to fold his underwear. I smiled sweetly.

Then he packed more and more into DaBlackBox. I pondered in my corner, if I shd bite all those undies of his. Maybe he wont be able to go away then.

I sulked. And pouted.

Then I pretended to tear.

But they still went away!!!

And guess what they did there? They BETRAYED us!!!

She's just black! How can she be cute?!?! Is this cute???
[MOM--Jealousy knows no boundaries]

And guess what? They did more HORRID things!!!
They OGLED at famous corgis!!

Ninja--Sobs! My Dad went to look at OTHER Border Collies.

Yuki & Ninja at SKC Trials 1st Nov 09

This is a peekture of the hooman compeitiors who were listening to the Alpha (guy with white hair circled). I dont see mommy inside but I spy Teacher and also Aunt J who always says Im cute hehe!

And do u know what happens to the dog while the hoomans listen to their Alpha? Dogs get locked up, hmpf!!

Just before our turn, Mom does some fun things with me. We do alota footwork which I realli realli like! And den I get fed sausages like nobody's business (cuz u are NOT allowed to bring them inside! Hee!)

This is mommy cue-ing me to jump and I did! Am I a good girl or what?

This is a close-up butt shot of how I do my jumps. Stop staring at my butt. I know its cute. :P

Yuki corgi's 2nd attempt at SKC Jumpers (Mini Novice)
No Q (qualify) but she did at least half the course which made me very very happy. I have noticed for the 1st time that she's actually very stressed and unsure in such an environment. And I kinda suspect she runs off to relieve the stress she feels. Not sure why I havent noticed it before. It doesnt happen much during trainings though she's always had a recall issue. Here, I had to shout quite loudly for her to hear me. See the speed at which she enters the tunnel and comes out of it? Well, that's her normal speed during training. The unsure and hesitation at the jumps is not what she does usually. I guess we got loads more to do but this trials was a marked improvement.

Yuki corgi's 2nd attempt at SKC Agility (Mini Novice)
I am darn proud of this lil' corgi cuz she did exactly what she's taught to do though we didn't complete the circuit. She did those weavepoles so happily at my voice-cue though she had a bit of problem finding the entry initially. She went gingerly on the dogwalk which was realli Yuki-style, using her paws to touch and test if it was stable. As she walked on it, I told her "You're realli a farnie dog, haha!" And at the obstacle Table, she went flat down straight. But when the judge gave an "OK" or "Go" instruction after the 5 sec wait, in his loud booming voice, yuki was done for the day. She got scared and started to wonder if she shd listen to me or the tall man. Duh. But I so love that dog.

Ninja's 1st attempt at SKC Jumpers (Maxi Novice)
This dog is FARNIE. He poops at least 3 times before his trials in the morning and he still does it in the ring. We supposed it was a nervous poop and I thot he did a great job following me in the ring, all da way till obstacle 7. It's only his 1st trials and Im glad he didnt wander off or dismantle any obstacles along the way. Surprisingly, he seemed to have cleared his jumps with quite a fair bit of cleareance.

I am 2 yrs old now! HAH! So technically, I rulezzz the world now!
Ok, so I wasn't 2 yet when this shot was taken. This is a peekture of me last month at the trials with Dad. And that's how long my hooman's been lazy. Yeap, absolutely lazy.

Now this is me and Dad. As you can obviously tell, he is NOT important. Which is why they only shoot his legs. I have told him so many times, that if he squats to my height, he gets his whole face into the pic but he ain't listening.

So what do I do when my hooman's finally not in the pic (looks better now right?)?

Mom & Dad went to this place after our swim & took many peektures. Mom says its a place where abandoned dogs are rescued and a lady with a big heart keeps them alive, awaiting their next furever home. I cant imagine any doggies without their furever homes though I think abt abandoning Ninja smetimes. Heehee. But really, he makes a nice pet though he's irritating.

This is where all the small size doggies stay TOGETHER. They dun have their own rooms like u and me but they get shelter & food, and love from the BIG-HEART-Lady.

Mom fell in love with this cutie cuz she looks like me. She's an escape artist apparently, ran out of the gate when the hoomans were not watching. Now dat's what I do best! Heehee! I wld lurve to make frens with this cutie, we'll have fun!!

I lurve long weekends! Mom and Dad brght us to the beach twice!!!! Now! How cool is that! Did we strike lottery or what?!?! Well, I've been to the beach before but the little bugger hasn't so we took sme peektures to show u how he likes the sand & water.

And we met so many of our frens there! We've met Uncle D with Sparkie, and we met Luna & Bossa, and even Felio the GR! I so so so so lurrrrrrve the beach now!

On Sunday, we went to Hort Park. I askd Mom if it was a HOT park and she said no. But when we reached, it was a HOT park. Hoomans.

On Sunday, Yuki was feeling better post-Op so Mom & Dad brought us to the Botanical Gardens to have a looooong walkie. This is us! I didn't wanna use this peekture but some CUTIE (obviously) threatened me with my next meal. What can a poooor doggie do?

Harlow guys,

Mommy rcvd news frm Aunt C lastnite that my bestest fren Tristan got admitted to hospital. He was very sick and semi-conscious. Apparently, he chewed up the cabinets and there might be sme holes in his intestine. They did an Xray and then sme barium studies, showing a huge chunk of stuff in his intestine.

Now he's being transferred to a doggie hospital for an operation. Let's all pray for him, that all will go well and Tristan will be back to his usual boisterous BC-self very soon.

Update from Mommy:

Mommy's seen Tristan lastnite. He didnt have the operation after all. The barium studies showed a big blockage in his tummy (I wonder what's stuck there?). So they've put him on steroids and will check him again today. Mommy says Tristan looks much better and can jump to high-5 her, though the drip on his front paw makes him look like a patient.

I hope he doesnt have a shoe or ball in his tummy. Chkn wings? Hmmm....

It has been a good 3 weeks of WET WET WET WET weather, the saddest season of a poooorrrr doggie's life! We hate rainy days (unless of course we're allowed to go to the fields still and roll in the mud to play! heehee!) [Mom: Drama queen! And heaven forbid! No muddy corgis in the house!] Therefore, I've been cooped up in the house, save for the occasional walks when the clouds hide....

Meanwhile, me saw this email in my inbox and think I shd share it with all of you, esp doggy-puppies cuz this is VERY VERY VERY impt to learn well. Heehee...

THE DOGGY DICTIONARY
LEASH: A strap which attached to your collar, enabling you to lead your person where you want him/her to go.
(Yuki: Something to chew secretly and quietly, especially at the 7-inch section frm your collar.)

DOG BED: Any soft, clean surface, such as the white bedspread in the guest room or the newly upholstered couch in the living room.
(Yuki: Daddy's anthropology beanbag, heehee!)

DROOL: Is what you do when your persons have food and you don't. To do this properly, you must sit as close as you can and look sad and let the drool fall to the floor or better yet, on their laps.
(Yuki: I do this VERY well!!! Must stare and don't blink!)

SNIFF: A social custom to use when you greet other dogs. Place your nose as close as you can to the other dog's rear end and inhale deeply, repeat several times, or until your person makes you stop.

GARBAGE CAN: A container which your neighbors put out once a week to test your ingenuity. You must stand on your hind legs and try to push the lid off with your nose. If you do it right, you are rewarded with maragrine wrappers to shred, beef bones to consume and moldy crusts of bread.

BICYCLES: Two-wheeled exercise machines, invented for dogs to control body fat. To get maximum aerobic benefit, you must hide behind a bush and dash out, bark loudly and run alongside for a few yards. The person then swerves and falls into the bushes and yo prance away.

DEAFNESS: This is a malady which affects dogs when their person want them in and they want to stay out. Symptoms include staring blankly at the person, then running in the opposite direction or lying down.
(Mom: It occurs when the corgi goes frapping in the fields....haiz...)

THUNDER: This is a signal that the world is coming to an end. Hoomans remain amazingly calm during thunderstorms so it is necessary to warn them of the danger by trembling uncontrollably, panting, rolling your eyes wildly and following at their heels.

WASTEBASKET: This is a dog toy filled with paper, envelopes and old candy wrapper. When you get bored, turn over the basket and strew the papers all over the house until your person comes home.

SOFAS: Are to dogs like napkins are to people. After eating, it is polite to run up and down the front of the sofa and wipe your whiskers clean.

BATH: This is a process by which the hoomans drench the floor, walls and themselves. You can help by shaking vigorously and frequently.
(Yuki: I can't help it dat we corgis are WATERPROOF!!)

LEAN: Every good ACD's response to the command "Sit!", especially if your person is dressed for an evening out. Incredibly effective before black-tie events.

BUMP: The best way to get your hooman's attention when they are drinking a fresh cup of coffee or tea.

GOOSE BUMP: A maneuver to use as a last resort when the Regular Bump doesn't get the attention you require....especially effective when combined with The Sniff. See above.

LOVE: Is a feeling of intense affection, given freely and without restriction. The best way you can show your love is to way your tail. If you're lucky, a hooman will love you in return.

I shouldn't bore u guys out with too much of my swimming peektures but the hoomans have been watching TV recently in awe of this swimmer-hooman named Phelps, 1 of the latest greatest Olympian they said. So I thot I shall post some of my SWIM peektures so my hoomans would stop watching him and play with me instead.

Well I may not have broken any hooman records but I definitely break the slowest corgi swimming record in history. So Im still a world record holder. WR.

After 20mins in the pool, corgi champion starts to foam. I think it's the chlorine.

Ohmigosh! I'm losing the last 0.02sec becuz I've got water in my goggles!!! Am I crashing lanes?!?

National Dog Walk '08

3rd Aug 2008 marks moi's 1st National Dog Walk. Apparently, every year all the doggies on our sunny little island come together to try & break the record for most no of dogs in 1 place together! Real cooool! Mommy says that moi cant miss such an important doggie event, plus I'll get to see the S.O.C.K (Official Singapore Corgi Kakis) so Daddy and Mommy packed me off to WCDR at 10am sharp in the morning! (Yawnzzz, I was still sleeping in my strawberry duh...)

How does a corgi sleep?

Mommy says I'm the cutest when I'm sleeping! So she wantd me to post up some of my cutie peektures. Here goes....
Mommy: A tired sleeping doggie is a GOOD doggie. Heehee.

This is moi sleeping on my ikea coolbed, and my big kiddy bolster. It's cold in the room, with air-con & all, so mommy wrapped me up like a popiah.

I like to have my favourite toys near me when I sleep. So when I wake up, the 1st thing I see is my toy! Then I can just play!

Sometimes, irritating pests disturb our beauty sleep. Like this brave mouse.
Cheezles, get off my neck!

You're breathing down my neck and thiiiis close to being chomped off. I warn u.

On Sunday after doggie class, me Momo & Tristan stayed back with our mommies while the rest of our classmates go home. For a while, I thot we were having detention becuz we were toooo notti in class! Hehe... Then the hoomans started discussing abt towels, routes, meeting plans, time to meet, blah blah blah.....all sounding like an excursion. Heck, I don't care! Us pups just played on..... we then drove off separately on our little doggie wheels.

An hour later, we met at this new place!!! (I like new places, they're usually fun!) I heard many many many doggie-barks!! And I saw Kingsley the famous Border Collie!! (My mommy's a fan of his brog) Then I was led innocently with Momo & Tristan to..........the swimming pool!!!! Shucks, we got cheated!!

(Mommy: its not that big. Stop being a drama-queen!)

What they didn't know: Momo can swim very well! He can turn like a dolphin!!

Soon, we were playing hide-n-seek in the pool & this is moi running away from Momo. I'm at a disadvantage! I got shorter paws and so they make smaller paddles!! Next round, I'm gonna bring my scuba fins!!!

This is to record down what a teeeedious exercise regime I have, in my pooor corgi life! Hmpf! Mommy says I have to learn how to stand properly so she can correct my crooked back! I don't get it!! Why should I learn how to stand when I already know how to stand like a good corgi should. I'm not a kiddy 2week old pup!

My hoomans caught me 1 fine afternoon and made me stand like a guard-dog on 2 pretty stools.

And the worst part?! They put my nappy bolster on my back, just to prove that it wasn't straight! Duh! Hoomans! I think it's already quite straight!

And they had fun by making poor moi balance my bolster, hmpf!!

This is a present from Aunt Yuki. It's a bottle of Neem Oil, heard that it is good to prevent fleas & ticks from coming onto my fur. Momo-taro uses this & no ticky-ticks fly onto him.
Btw, Aunt Yuki is Momo-taro's mommy, she's the hooman-Yuki whereas I'm the doggie-Yuki. We have 1 similarity, that is we are both VERY PRETTY!!! Heeheehee.....

New frens! I lurrve making new frens!! I'm a frenly Pembroke corgi what!
Was a wee bit disappointed that there wasnt a huge turnout, but at least I made some new frens today! And that's all that matters!

This is a Corgi jiejie, her owners say she's abt 3yrs old I think. Reeeal pretty! With a very very bushy tail no less! She's like double my size! We touch noses and say Hi like all good doggies do!

I let Corgi jiejie sniff out my butt. I'm clean. I wiped this morn. I swear I did.

Ok, I passed her sniff test. Now my turn to sniff her ears (dat's abt it) while she chills out...

Don't we look like sisters? Jiejie looks like a bigger version of moi! Ok, so she got bigger paws, so what? Bleeaah!

Another cutie! Why did they do that half-shave I wonder?

Border korkor!! He's a reeeal reeeal special Border Collie!! He looks like Mr Baileys, just as handsome! Border (not his real name) adopted Aunt J & family when he decided to walk into their apartment 1 day (Dat was abt 2wks ago). Try as they might, they could not contact his owners or find any trails from his microchip. Kindhearted Aunt J & her hubby took him in and even brought him to grooming and swimming! And if his real owners don't turn up soon, they might just adopt him.

Personally, I think if his owners do not even bother to look for him, then they don't deserve to have Border korkor becuz he's SOOoo Special!! I just so wish that he will come to doggie school and we can meet again soon to play!!

And I also met the fearsome rotties! I think they're Agent Bear and Agent Bruno if I'm not wrong. They suss me out while I hold my breath....

Ok. I'm standing still. Reeeal still. Now u would do the same if 2 Mata (policemen) came to ur side n told u to do so, wldn't u? So stop laffing at moi k?! I ain't no criminal doggie! No, I didn't take that bone or bully that little doggie. I swear.

Phew!!! Finally managed to sneak away!

It's finally here!! The USDAA competitions!!!

On Sat morn, mommy woke us up super duper early & screamed at us to start packing & be on our best behaviour today. We were gonna watch the USDAA competitions!! Well...what the hell was that, I thot? I was still dozing in my little strawberry bed, yawnzzz. It could stand for the United Shortie Doggy Adventures Association? Hmmm.....oh well, if there's gonna be fun & food, Im gonna be there!!!

So its the Agility competitions!! Im finally gonna see real doggies do agility stunts!! Yippee!!
Oh is that food I see...? Am I gonna get my door gift...? Harlow....Harlow.....

And who else but Mr Baileys! With the man himself--Uncle Smartdoggy! They make a reeeaal tight team and I'm finally gonna see Baileys korkor in action! They always make very cool moves in class & Baileys korkor is a speedster monster! Ooh, I cant wait...Im gonna find moi a frontrow seat!

They wait reeally reeally quietly as the wind blows..... do I sound like a kungfu film or wat? Heehee!

And down the A-frame!!! Ok. Daddy MISSED all the peektures in between the startline and the A-frame cuz that's just how fast Baileys korkor was!! Daddy, can u pleease change ur camera?!?

And then off the table swiftly!! Of course, Daddy missed all the peektures in between again! Arrrghhhh......this is exasperating. Mr Baileys the speedster is reeally tooo fast for our little doggy camera.

Ok. Daddy. This peekture has got to take the cake. Where is Baileys korkor?
Daddy's explanation: Mr Baileys was on the RHS of the peekture BEFORE the obstacle. Daddy snaps camera button. And then Mr Baileys DISAPPEARED!!! He was tooo fast!! So he ended up outside the peekture. Now Yuki, if u look reeeally hard, u wld see Mr Baileys on the LHS, just outside after the obstacle. Heehee.

It turns out that the competitions were divided into 3 groups, just like a chicken wing has 3 portions! There is the Big-Big doggies, Big doggies and Small doggies category for cuties like moi! Heehee, so what if I'm a shortie! So long as there's a category for moi, I'm happy!!
And I got to see this real handsome corgi korkor compete! We said Hi and touched noses but I didn't have a chance to ask for his pawtograph yet...well, till the next time!

And he could do the A-frame too! And the weavepoles! How dizzy is that!

And a beautiful leap across that hurdles! Look at that cute butt! He has long swishy tail like moi too! I like. Heehee...

Speaking of the Big-Big doggies category, moi thinks this GR korkor is 1 of them. Well, even though he's huge, he does the A-frame & see-saw just like a pro!

Now the next peekture is a "Guess what" peekture. Can anybody tell moi what this group of hoomans are up to? They seem to be blocking the entrance & I cant bark them all away. I wanna go into the ring to play! Are they discussing when they're gonna let all the doggies in to play??

Mommy: Yuki, No!! They are discussing the competition routes. And you're not allowed into the ring! You've already ran into the ring ILLEGALLY twice today! How embarrassing is that? Behave yourself!

How can this filmsy netting stop me from going in??? Daddy, can I pleeaaase go in to play?? It looks reeeal fun!!! Pwweety please?

Pre-Agility Class Part I

Today is my 1st day at Pre-Agility Class @ doggy-school. Woah, Im sooo excited!! But wait a min, where's the grass?!? U mean we come to the same classroom to practise, like in obedience class?? Awww....that's boring!!

Mommy, I wanna go to the grass!!

Must I sit proper & listen?? Ok, I'll try...

Well, at least there're some new classmates I can play with. Let me introduce them here. Now that's Hamilton. That boy's got big ears, aint it?

And then there's Spot. I like his cute Bob Tail.

And of course, Tiger korkor!! He's a handsome boy @ 10mths old, just a wee bit bigger than moi. And that's his hooman korkor handling him for agility.

We have a new man in the class today, Sparky korkor. He's real special. He's a Border Collie, but shortfur like moi, with handsome markings.

I decided to give Sparky korkor a frenly kiss. Muaks!

And of course, my best fren Tristan came to class!! Yippee!! Dat's him practising hard with his mommy, Aunt C.

Pre-Agility Class Part III--Last Lap

After the break, Uncle Smartdoggy made all our papas & mamas stand on a pavement. So we're supposed to learn how to walk properly today & not tug our papa & mama everywhere.

A class photo. See us hiding in the corner? Well, I wasn't too keen on such boring stuff but mommy was hiding cuz she says moi is embarrassing!! Bleah!!

Pretty Sable jiejie is 3 yrs old. There she is, looking all pretty.

Finally class is over for us pups! Mommy decides to stay behind to let me watch the older doggies do their thing. We were lucky! Cuz we managed to catch Yoyo!! We've actually met him @ WCDR last week and he's real good at his agility stuff now. Hope to see him next week too!!

A new fren here! Oreo, a Blue Merle Border Collie, fren of Aunt C (Tris mommy). Anyways, Oreo's a very very pretty jiejie, all prime & proper. Even her collar & leash matches her furcoat!!

Sheep or Dogs?

We are going to the Westcoast dogrun again!! Im so happy when mommy comes home early from work so we can all go out together!

In the car on the way to WCDR, Yuki decides to.....climb onto the dashboard...AGAIN!!

Yuki: Mommy, just think of me as a tissue box k?

Mommy: Yuki! Get off the dashboard!!!

We finally reach the WCDR in 1 piece...hoomans + dog.

Ohmigod! Are those sheeps?!? Mama, can I herd them all???

Yuki: Now I'm quite sure the whitie's a sheep rite?

Mommy: No Yuki, he's a Borzoi. Now if I were u, I will be real nice to them.

Ok, I surrender, don't hamtam me.

But you really do look like a Border Collie. Same color what!

Meanwhile, Mommy plays with a pretty Golden Retriever jiejie.

Happy moi has just come back from my holidays, so here's some of my pretty peektures to share. Mommy has been on leave so we got to go on holiday-->Daddy, Mommy & me!

Mommy: As Yuki does nothing but grin, mommy had to help her pack her luggage! Bleah :P

The 1st place we went to was the beach!! Mommy had brought me to swimming classes when I went to doggie school previously. But...but...but.....it wasn't SOOO BIG!! Here's a peekture of my 1st attempt swimming in the sea. I had to paddle VERY hard so my corgi ears would stay above water, evil hoomans!!!

After a while, I decided I needed help!

I had to appeal to stay on the beach to rest my paws!

After the long workout at the beach, we check into the hotel. Now this is unfair. The hoomans get a suite and moi gets a BATH-TUB?!? Hmpf!

Papa says I shd watch more soccer so I become knowledgible like him. But why is the ball so small?!? I think I like my ball better....

Mommy: Yuki spent the rest of the holidays at Grandpa & Grandma's place and got alota pampering from them, Uncle F & Aunt E. The lure of meatballs & buffet proved to be irresistable vs the beach. Sigh.

Westcoast Dogrun

Mommy says I've been getting listless in class now....well there's no mre Tristan didi to play with in class so its not so fun like it used to be.
(Mommy: Baby Yuki takes obedience class at Smartdoggy's every Sunday noon & she used to go to puppy class with Tristan)
So Mommy surprised me today & brght me to this wonderful place after school!!

It's the doggyrun!!!

That's papa!! Haha, tell u a secret...its no doggie whistle hanging ard his neck, its a handsfree set that he talks into. Sometimes, when he does it, he looks like a dingdong man....

And guess who I met there?!?! Coco jiejie & Tristan didi!!! Yippee!!

We had a good roll & I surrendered, of course, hehes...

We met some new fren too, I think he's a dachshund. He's got a long body like me!

And then some more new frens! Is that a fox terrier? Anyways, they were real cool!

And then we do the new comrades march! To the grass, brudders!!

Well my best fren is still Tristan didi, here's the 2 of us taking a 5min break..

And of course, coco jiejie!! Mommy thinks she's a real pretty corgi lady. While I think coco jiejie's got a real long tongue here, she wins paws down, heehee...

Cupcakes Pawty!

Mommy has been organising a cupcakes baking session with her frens. Well what she didnt tell me was it's gonna be a doggies Pawty as well!! And it's gonna be today!!
Yippee!! Am gonna meet sme new doggie frens later!!

This is me waiting expectantly this morn!

Finally they came!! I made 3 new doggie frens, all korkors.
Aunt Val brought Donut korkor (he's the oldest) & Oreo korkor (he's just a wee older than moi). Aunt BB-Val brought Summer Korkor along. Dont be mistaken wor, Summer & Oreo korkor are not related though they do look like brudders, hehes..

See?! Summer & Oreo even have the same hair style!!!

Im sure Donut korkor uses a different hairstylist, his tail is very different...BUSHY!

As the boys fight it on to decide who's Alpha, Princess Moi sits back to watch...

But hey! Im the only girl here...why's Summer korkor humping Donut korkor???

Oh, not forgetting the baked creations that day...

But none were for doggies, hmpf!!

Chabi KorKor

Mommy says its high time I do a little write-up of my Chabi Korkor & introduce him to our frens. So I started digging out my fotos when I last met him on Sunday.

Chabi Korkor is a Fussy Lop (Mommy clarifies: Fuzzy Lop) frm Holland, he's a rabbit (*slurps* Doesnt dat sound yummy??). He is abt 5yrs old and he's nw Grandmama's godson. Doesnt dat make him Mommy's brudder & my uncle?!? Anyways, silly Mommy got us matching Baseball Tshirts & made us pose pose. The peektures didnt come out very nice so I didnt get any treats, hmpf!

Introducing My Frens

I thought I wld introduce my frens since I got nothing better to do nw. Dont be mistaken, the peektures below was taken a few wks ago during our play session. The humans haven't brought me out since wkend...hmpf!

(Mommy: Yuki is still cooped up at hme, very grouchy girl nw)

There's Coco jiejie, she's a 9mth old Tri-band corgi. Mommy thot she's my first corgi fren until she found out frm Barnbarn's blog that we met 2 days prior. But she's a real nice corgi jiejie & I like to play with her.

Then there's Tristan, a 2mth old Border Collie. He's my classmate @ Smartdoggy puppy class & we meet every week to play! He's bigger than me though Im older & we play like there's no tomoro!!

My lazy Saturday afternoon

Since Im trapped at home, what else better to do than to rub on my fav carpet in the aircon studyroom? Ooh....I love leaving my pawprints all over!

Mommy: Yuki is recovering frm a bout of ringworm, hence by decree, she is a prisoner for the moment.

But smetimes I forget....there's a glass door..oopsy! Ouch!

Ever since I fell 'sick', I get to do things Im not normally allowed to cuz they feel sorry for me. Hehe....here's me getting a massage frm Daddy as I lie on the sofa pillows.
The key to note is to pretend to look real sick & grouchy *winks*

Hehe, actually its very shiok! I feel like a pampered pooch! Shhh...dont tell Daddy....

So shiok until I had to lick my paws to stop myself frm laffing...oooh....aahhh....

Yah, chewing on my toycar helps. Hey there, massage harder la! Who say u can stop nw?!

Then I take a lazy nap on the sofa....zzzzzz....

Mommy: Her wound still looks scary...

And Mommy bght me a new mat, well its pretty comfy....Ok, passed!

FRIDAY 2PM

Mommy & Daddy came back early tdy & brght me out. This was unusual, especially after their little panic attack lastnite. Lastnite mommy & Daddy flipped me all over in a frenzy & checked me upside down for fleas/ticks.

This is a picture of me in the car....see my pretty pose? I like to sit right in front so I always reach my destination FIRST. Hehe..
oohh...where are we going? Pawtabello again?

They brought me to the vet!!! No wonder come home so early!! I got cheated, me no like vets. Hmpf!

This is a picture of grumpy Yuki after the vet's visit.

Mommy: Yuki got hit by a bout of ringworms. As explained by Dr Eugene, ringworms are not actually worms but can be transmitted by the germs around us as well. Silly Yuki has a very bad habit of chewing on her hot spots (itchy spots due to whatever allergy she might has) & it aggravated, resulting in ringworm which is a fungal infection.

Mommy: See the hotspots? There's hardly any fur left, the silly girl chewed it all off.

Mommy: That's what ringworm infection looks like. It didnt look like this when we found out. It looked real nasty then, with bloodscabs all over. Dr Eugene shaved the fur off this part so we can put medication & it wont aggravate. Luckily, this was the only very nasty spot.

Then they put me in a cone somemore!!!
I cant walk properly! Duh. When is this gonna end?

Mommy & Daddy decided I cldnt go out yet (at least for these 2 days) and went out by themselves. Hmpf! That's what they went to see without me....nice meh?

Chapter 1

Im Yuki, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi & Im 7mths old. I live with my mommy & daddy in MY house where Im Princess. Mommy says I shd have started blogging when I was 4mths old but I wasnt strong enuff to climb onto the laptop then. But now Im stronger & I have sharper claws.

This is me when I was posing at 4mths old. I like to smile for the camera, the humans like to goo & ga, I dunno why....*shrugs*

Sometimes I manja mommy den I get treats & beefballs after dat *slurps*

Mommy says I got small paws, not like normal corgi at all. Well I think mommy's paws are too big, not like normal humans too. Bleah!

Sometimes I play with daddy cuz Im his princess. See?! The other huge-paw human!!

When nobody plays with me, I chew my bone on my carpet....

This is a grumpy me cuz it was raining yest morn & I didnt get to go to doggie school. Hmpf!

When I go to doggie school, I get to play with other doggies & go swimming. I even met a corgi last Wed, think his name is BarnBarn. I do hope to see him next week den we can all play!
